Lately, JR has been getting more things wrong than usual. I know the guy has Bells Palsy, and well done to him to work through it, but now it's time to let a better play-by-play commentator come in.
I feel he also has the wrong ideas about what the fans want to see. On the Ross Report, his weekly column, he is constantly putting high-flying wrestlers down. He says the wrestlers should 'slow down' and 'tell the story better'. He also wants RVD to change his unorthodox and fan-friendly style. He also dislikes the popular gimmick matches, such as the TLC. I know that he's concerned about the health of the wrestlers, but for God's sake let them entertain. No fan wants to see superstar trying to break their necks, but if there were no gimmick matches, wrestling would not be as entertaining to watch.
I can't be sure, but I think he also abolished Tazz's suplexing style, and replaced with a boring, monotonous one. If he didn't, come forward and tell me.
I'm not trying to insult JR, it's just that he was much better when he called each move by its name, instead of labelling everything as a 'high impact manoeuvre'. I say let Joey Styles in and let JR keep the talent co-ordinating job he has.

I can see what you are talking about and you are making a good point but I think good old JR rules and he should stay cause if this Joey Styles guy came anyway, wasnt he from ECW? cause that would make the commentating spot a bit one sided wouldnt it? unless he joined as a WWF commentator!

Paul Heyman is great at spotting potential superstars and devloping characters for them, thats how he made ECW so damn good.

I agree with Andy.
Though King and JR worked best with each other. Paul Heyman is irritating and damn ugly(besdies the point). It was comical to listen to JR and the king commentate, they are like Coach and Hayes- there pretty funny too.

Yer he gets Jeff Hardy mixed up with Matt Hardy! I mean one has multi coloured hair and the other has black! Also he mixed Lita up with one of the hardyz! Bring Joey Styles! Also Joel Gertner would add a sence of humour with his poems!
