Ok,

So i'm thinking of getting online with socom, but just wondering of any future games which will be online and use the headset?

Q1. What other online games are due for release in future and which look the best?

Q2. What other games will use the headset?

Cheers

1000s, but if you mean this year there's a handful:

EverQuest Online Adventures (yes, yes! YES!)
SOCOM 2 (with headset facilities)
Amplitude (sequel to frequency)
Gran Turismo 4 (might just scrape in at Christmas)
FIFA 2004 (with headset facilities, maybe by Christmas)
Hardware: Online Arena
Destruction Derby Arenas
Twisted Metal: Black Online (no headset)
My Street

I've listed them in the order I'd want them most.

In the far future you've got the likes of Star Wars: Galaxies and Final Fantasy XI Online. (Both will be pay to play, as is EverQuest, the rest are free to play). In the meantime the first 5 games on the list above should keep you going, especially if you've got the original SOCOM already. Already out at present are Midnight Club 2 and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, both playable online.

See above. Where I haven't mentioned if it's compatible with a headset it means I don't know yet.

Cheers man :D

Lots to go searchin on the net about, as i havn't heard of most of those.

What about resident evil online, that's one i've heard of?

As i've already got Broadband at home, the cost of £25 adapter is quite cheap to get into the online world.

See u online then ;)

P.S. dunno how this works yet but someone could set up a SR chat room, where all us SR chatters could play each other online.

Search for "Resident Evil Outbreak" which is what they recently renamed it to indicate that it can be played offline as well :)
