Thats what the real story is! Severs Square rite now they need Nintendo! To recupe lost costs!

Square produced some of the BEST RPG's on the SNES, and I was thourghly disappointed when they left Nintendo to go join Sony!

Dammit! Why can't Nintendo and Square settle their differences and become friends once again?

Square would make loads of money buy selling loads of their games to the millions of Nintendo owners. And Nintendo would sell millions more consoles due to the Square RPG's on the console!

Square are probably the best games developwer, in my opinion, with the FF sereis and many more, and, seeing as the only console i had at the time was a N64, or Ultra 64, I was very sad that my favourite games desingin and console designer "brake up". But it isn't surprising it was Squares fault because Nintendo should have used disks.

yeah but Nintendo would look weak if they let Square make games for the Gamecube after they cussed the N64 so hard.

I don't think that Nintendo will let Square make GBA titles (which would be to Square's advantage) unless they make Gamecube ones too (Nintendo's advantage).

Because Sony has shares in Squaresoft then Gamecube games may never appear (a knock for Nintendo) and Final Fantasy won't be released on the GBA (an even bigger knock for Squaresoft).

Who knows, Nintendo and Square might work things out.

I wish Nintendo had thought of their gamers instead of revenge.

Sony let them release the GBA titles because it's not in direct competition with the PS2 :-)

I wouldn't hold your breath for final fantasy on the gamecube for 2 reasons, Nintendo's issues with Square and them also being part property of Sony :-(

Yea they only own a 1/5th what about the other 4/5th's? Nintendo are getting very close at the moment, and square are releasing their games on the GBA, and on release lists in has been put in (bbefore it was quickly removed). Theres still hope.

See now Nintendo have finally got their act together and Sony made a slight boo boo, Square are suffering because of a past incident with Nintendo. If Nintendo had any business sense they would forgive and forget although due to the cost of the final fantasy movie they took Sony's offer, Square were hoping to release Final Fantasy 11 on the xbox,PS2 and gamecube but since Sony now own a fifth of Squaresoft that aint gona happen ;-)
