A few words come to mind when you think of father ted, Funny, classic, brillient, i cant believe it came out of channel four.

Its one of the few comedies that can live on one liners.

in the new DVD there are some great episodes, here are some of my favourite lines:

Mrs doyal:go on, have some cake, theres cocain in it

Ted: COCAIN!

Mrs Doyal: no not cocain, whats the word, currents

ted is showing dougal some toy sheep

ted: see dougal, these ones are small, buy the ones out side are far away

I could go on and on and on about lines that made me laugh.but i wont.

there is also an extra, hour long christmas episode. where ted rescues himself and 7 other priest who are lost in the womans underwear section of a department store and then gets an award for his bravoury.

im not going to review it, as its not a proper review.but you should get this DVD.

I was so gutted when the guy died, no more father ted....I'm glad they dident bring in a new guy to play ted that wouldent work.
funniest line I heard was the sheep contest and Ted just uncovered the guys plan to get better odds on his sheep Chris:
"NO, Chris dont look at me, DONT LOOK AT MEEE!!!"

This was such a brilliant comedy. I can't think of a single episode being the best, but I agree, the Christmas special was hilarious. The way it was set out as a military operation to get out of the women's underwear section was so funny. The part where it went back to Father Jack in the nursery where he was playing with the building blocks was diamond!

My favourite character was either Father Jack or the one Graham Norton played. Father Jack was so great, especially when he spoke coherently, and realised what was going on around him. The episode where Graham Norton really shone was the one where Father Ted and Father Dougal get lost in some caves and they find Graham Norton. It was amazingly funny!

There too many good episodes, some of the best are with Graham Norton in them, damn program is tooooo funny.
I've got all the videos might have to update them to DVDs sometime.

FECK OFF, DRINK, NUNS

Yer, that was funny all the women kept opening the doors naked and he kept having to go round the roundabout.

I like the episode with the bomb on the milk-float!

My favourite character is Dougal because of his stupidity.
