Odd in that it was released in September 2006 in Japan and didn't look destined for these shores.

Odd that a forum for it suddenly appears on the XBox.com forums.

Odd that no matter where you look, including Amazon.co.uk who are usually first up with a release date (even if it's tentative) there's nothing official about it coming to these shores, aside from a Summer 2007 release date for the US on IGN (again, probably a tentative date).

Aside from all that, if it does make its way to Blighty I might pencil it in for a meeting with my wallet. I don't have any space shooters. It will fill a gap. From the screenshots it looks nice and complicated. Something to have a quick blast with from time to time but with what appears to be quite a bit of depth (you can control wingmen, you can customise your weaponry, you can have separate pitch/yaw controls or just go with Novice settings, it has a cut-scene storyline between missions).

Best of all, no sign of Donald or Goofy; although it would be neat if you could name your own wingmen, but I don't think that's an option.

One to watch, maybe.

It was announced for release here quite recently by Microsoft along with a couple of other games that were originally only aimed at the Asian market. The others wrre Vampire Rain and Senko No Ronde if I remember rightly.
