I heard a rumour that Nintendo would be releasing an expansion for the GC which allows you to play GB games, with multiplayer modes and using only one cart, through the GC using it's controllers.

But that's what the GB player does doesn't it? 4 player GBA games become 4 player GC games with only 1 cart needed in the GB player.

Well it ain't gonna happen like that (not with this generation of Game Boy anyway).

So Nintendo HAVE finally got their console back on cartridges! Sly dogs! :D

It's suprising they didn't make this a software solution - bung a bootdisk in the Gamecube, plug the GBA onto the controller port and hey-presto you get Metroid Fusion on the big screen, and everyone who uses it needs to have a GBA :O)

Maybe the data-transfer through the controller port wasn't up to it :O[
