It's much better than the original, instead of going into 'fight mode' every once in a while, you can you use your cards at any time, making for some great secrets and generally more refined gameplay.
The cut-scenes look superb and, while in screens the game looks very bland, it's great.
Anyone who's got the money, I advise you get it, plus, seeing as on the official website it said there were 6 worlds (i'm still on the first), it may be a bit of a mammoth.

If Skies Of Arcadia gets me hungry for some turn based RPG action, I may have to look into this one.

Its not turn based though.
But I'm still still stuck on the first level of the second world, so I can't :'-(
The puzzles are superb, some that will have you stumped for ages be can be solved by using a crad found on that level, Metroid-stylee. Again, like metroid, returing to visited places with new cards can unlock loads of new things.
As for the transform cards, well, at first, they are a bit crap, because the first one you get is slow and annoying, but as you prgress, you find much better ones.
This really is much, much better than the original, first sequel in ages I've liked more than the original, I think Donkey Kong Country 3 was the last.
Any more in LSKII? SOA:L is far more tempting for me.
