ones for the modem, ones for th GB player and the other is probably just another option which nintendo can use to produce an add on in the future, if you have a SNES even that had a port underneath

they are just ways of giving nintendo options to produce add ons in the future it may not even ever be used

I always wanted to get an N64DD just so I could use the expansion port on the N64.

The third port allows you to plug your SNES into your cube and play your old titles with Cube standard graphics.

Whats the N64DD?

An expansion for the N64 but I think it only came out in Japan, didn't sell too well so they didn't release it anywhere. 64DD = Complete Flop
