Many of you are confused as to Rare developing for the PS2. Whats happened is that 6 members (or something like that) have formed a new programming company called free radical design (or someting like that) and are indeed developing a shoot em up for the PS2. Whether it will be anygood is another question. Remember Rare are a good company because they have the backing of the mighty Nintendo. Most of the Rare team are still there and PD is a game from this new Rare team. As it is better than golden eye we have nothing to worry about. Unless Sony steal Shigs from Nintendo (which is as likely as Kidderminster Harriers winning the premiership - i.e. no chance at all) then Nintendo will struggle. Besides Did any of you know that Nintendo have employed some former square Programmers to make a game for the GBA. Anyway Rare can't produce for any other company because Ninty have a 25% stake in the shareholdings and therefore as good as own Rare. I don't think the new team will do much good with the PS2 because of the difficulty in programming for it, and they haven't got the backing that the current Rare team have. Thats the truth.
