Multiplayer?

Gamecube obviously. Look at the Japanese launch and you have two first class multiplayer games already, especially Monkey Ball.

Gameplay?

Depends on the game. I think that if you compare the best titles from each then you get a similar result.

Graphics?

Gamecube has a fair advantage.
A. Because generally, it's more powerful and efficient.
B. This power is easy to exploit.

Having said that, if someone managed to squeeze every last drop of power out of the PS2 (That means about 2 years working on the graphics engine alone!) and got everything right then it would look slightly better than a gamecube game.

Which one looks the best?

That's down to personal taste I guess.
The Gamecube looks more compact and shinier.

Best value for money?
Not sure yet. We'll have to see Nintendo's prices first.

Other stuff?
It's down to third party support.
More people own a PS2 but the on Gamecube it is much easier to make a good game than it is to make a crap game on the PS2.

Will companies go for sales or ease?

Major companies like Capcom and Sega have said they like the Gamecube best while most of the others go for easy sales on the PS2 where the "less picky" casual gamers are.

Is the playstation 2, Gamecube or x-box the best at:

Multiplayer?

Gamecube! Four controller ports as standard. And what's better muliplayer than Mario Kart and a Rare first person shooter!

Gameplay?

Gamecube! Nintendo seem to be the only company out of Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft which concentrate on gameplay instead of just graphics. ie look at the new Zelda

Graphics?

Gamecube! Ever played Wave Race? And that was just a launch title. Plus the Dreamcast even had better graphics than most Playstation 2 games!

Which one looks the best?

Gamecube! The Playstation 2 is a big slab of c***! And the X-Box is a huge messed up, skank-me-do machine!

Best value for money?

Gamecube! Playstation launches at £300! So will the X-Box! But the Gamecube will be £150-£200! OH YES!

Other stuff?

Gamecube! Has Nintendo's inhouse games! Plus games from WICKED developers like Rare!

AND WHY???

Gamecube! Cos I say SO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would say GC as most of the best multiplayer games were on N64 - There is no reason why the GC should be any different!!

Gameplay?
Cant really say just yet!!

Graphics?
So far from what Ive seen of GC the graphics are just as good as the PS2 - However we are yet to see the full potential of the PS2. There again the graphics in Rogue Leader - Difficult to say which is best!!

Which one looks the
> best?
GC - Nice and compact and some pretty cool colours!!

Best value for money?
PS2 - Under £200 A bargain plus already a huge catalogue of quality titles!!

Multiplayer?
The GameCube, because first it has four controller sockets and becuase the best Multi-player games were on the N64

Gameplay?
hard to decide

Graphics?
Aren't the PS2 and the GameCube the same?

Which one looks the best?
Definatly the GameCube

Best value for money?
The GameCube, but now the PS2 has lowered in price, but it was £100 more expensive at it's launch, so I'd say the GameCube

Other stuff?
What other Stuff! :D

I am gonna get a GameCube but may also get a PS2.
