The following contest is for the WWF Forum Light-Heavyweight Championship, currently held by the undefeated Essa Rios (Mouldy Cheese.) His challenger came out of a tough fatal 4-way with 3 other wrestlers vying for a shot at the LH Title, and his name is Chavo Guerrero JNR (Big Slow.)
Chavo is already in the ring, and the crowd give a nice pop to Essa Rios as he makes his way down to the squared circle. Essa stands on the outside, showing his belt off to the crowd. Oh! Chavo just caught Essa right in the back of the head with a huge Baseball slide dropkick. Essa is knocked straight to the ground, and the ref quickly takes the belt, as Chavo tosses a stunned Essa into the ring.
The bell rings, and Chavo whips Essa into the ropes and takes him down with a hard clothesline. Essa gets up, and is met by a series of right-hands, and he stumbles back into the corner. Chavo runs at Essa, but Essa uses his speed to move out of the way, and Chavo slams straight into the corner. Essa takes advantage of this, hooking Chavoís right arm around his head, and hitting a Backdrop Suplex. Essa bounces off the ropes and drops his leg straight into the midsection of Chavo, and then looks for another one, but Chavo scrambles away just in time. Essa is left on the ground holding his leg, and Chavo kicks him sharply in the back of the head.
Chavo whips him into the ropes and nails a powerslam, and then a quick cover, 1..kick-out. Chavo kicks Essa in the gut, and then hits him with a Snap Suplex. Chavo bounces off the ropes, but Essa is up, and Chavo has to leapfrog over him. He bounces off the opposite set of ropes, and Essa quickly falls to the ground, moving out of harms way. Chavo continues to run, not seeing Essa leap to his feet, and Chavo is thrown from the ropes straight into a beautiful belly-to-belly suplex, Kurt Angle style! Chavo slides out of the ring, trying to regain his composure. But Essa has other ideas, and he flips over to the apron, then balances on the middle rope, turns so heís facing the ring, and then flies through the air-AN AMAZING SPRINGBOARD MOONSAULT!! MY GOD, WHAT AGILITY! Chavo is down, and Essa celebrates to the cheering crowd.
As Chavo (Big Slow) stumbles to his feet, Essa (Mouldy Cheese) jumps onto the security barrier, and somersaults off it, looking to take Chavo down with another high-risk offence, but Chavo scouts it well, and Essa lands hard on the padded floor. Chavo hangs Essa over the barrier, and then heads up to the top rope. He signals to the crowd, and then jumps! OH MY GOD! HE JUST LEG DROPPED ESSA RIOS ON THE SECURITY BARRIER! HE LANDED RIGHT ON THE BACK OF HIS NECK! Chavo slowly throws him into the ring, and hooks the leg, 1Ö2Öand Essa kicked out! Amazing!
Chavo is irate now, and he whips Essa to the ropes with force. But Essa, with perfect timing, uses the speed to his own advantage and takes Chavo down with a Flying Crossbody! Chavo quickly gets up, but Essa lands a well-placed heel kick right between his eyes. Essa picks him up and tosses him towards the corner, and then runs towards him. But Chavo puts his arms onto the turnbuckle and lifts himself up, and is then able to jump over a sprinting Essa. Essa has to use all his reflexes to escape the oncoming turnbuckle, and with amazing athletisism he jumps straight onto the middle rope, and then speedily onto the top rope. HE PULLS OF A CORKSCREW MOONSAULT!
Both men are down now, and the referee utilises his 10-cout. As he gets to 6, both men are up, and are exchanging right-hands. Chavo gets the best of them, and he bounces off the ropes and then appears to climb up Essa, bringing him down with a Hurracanrana-with an automatic pin at the end! 1Ö2ÖEssa kicked out again! Chavo rolls him up, 1Ö2Öanother kick-out!
Chavo (Big Slow) drops a huge elbow, but thereís nobody home, and Essa (Mouldy Cheese) for some reason heads outside to the ring apron. He beckons for Chavo to come and get him, and Chavo certainly doesnít hesitate. He runs at the Light-Heavyweight champion, but Essa is ready for him, and he lowers himself and slams his shoulder into Chavoís stomach. Chavo bends over in pain, and Essa flips himself over the ropes, and takes Chavo down with him-Sunset Flip! 1Ö2ÖAnd this time itís Chavoís turn to kick-out!
Essa once again makes his way to the top rope, and catches Chavo right in the forehead with a Missile Dropkick. He bounces off the ropes and hits a struggling Chavo with a Spinning Wheel Kick. Essa picks him up and looks for a German Suplex, but Chavo reverses, manages to get behind Essa and nails a Russian Leg Sweep. Chavo then runs to the ropes, launches himself off the middle rope and sends Essa to the mat with a big Back Elbow! Chavo puts Essa onto his shoulders but he slides off, and shoves Chavo into the turnbuckle. Chavo staggers back towards Essa, who then hits a harsh Body Slam.
Essa tries to lock in a sleeper hold, but Chavo reverses into a Snapmare. He climbs to the top rope, and goes for the Frog Splash! He gets it-and Essa rolls onto his back in agony. Chavo pulls Essa up by his hair, gets him into a waist-lock, and then nails a massive Belly-to-Back Suplex. He grabs Essaís head, and then stands on the middle rope! He flies through the air, smashing Essaís head into the unforgiving canvas-some sort of high-risk Bulldog! He whips Essa into the ropes and looks for a boot to the face but Essa ducks, bounces off the ropes and appears to jump over a waiting Chavo, but grabs his arm in mid-air, and he takes him down with a huge Hip Toss! Chavo is straight up however, running at Essa, who proceeds to bring him down with an Arm Drag, and then another.
Essa grabs Chavoís legs, and tries to toss him across the ring, but Chavo thinks differently, and uses his strength and agility to hit Essa with an awesome Judo-Flip Suplex! Chavo doesnít waste any time, and he sets Essa up for a Falling Neckbreaker-but Essa (Mouldy Cheese) reverses, twisting round and nailing him with a Jawbreaker! He kicks him in the stomach, and WHAM! What a DDT! He picks up a groggy Chavo Guerrero (Big Slow), and takes hold of one of his arms, runs with it onto the top rope, bounces, then sits on it with one leg, stands up, flips over in mid-air and with strength he never knew he had, powerslams Chavo onto the unforgiving canvas! My God, what a manoeuvre!
Essa bounces off the ropes and hits a nice Body Splash, before making a cover, 1Ö2Öand Chavo gets his right shoulder up. Essa is livid, how is he going to keep Chavo down for the 3-count?! Essa whips Chavo into the ropes, but itís reversed, and Essa bounces off the ropes and runs straight into a Tiltawhirl Backbreaker! Essa staggers to his feet, and they both bounce off the ropes, and take each-other down with a double-clothesline!
They slowly get up, and Essa runs straight into a bear-hug from Chavo, who tries for a Belly-to-Belly suplex, but Essa uses amazing agility to land on his feet! He bounces off the ropes, AND CHAVO NAILS A BRAINBUSTER!! This one is most definitely over! 1Ö2ÖI donít believe it! Chavo gets off Essa! He goes up to the top rope andÖheís mimicking Essa! Chavo tries for the MoonsaultÖ Itís a beautiful Moonsault, but THEREíS NOBODY HOME! Chavo is left lying on the ground in pain, and Essa leaps to the top rope, signals to the crowd, AND HITS A PERFECT MOONSAULT! Essa shows Chavo how itís done, and pins him with confidence, 1Ö2Ö3!!
Essa shows why he is the undefeated Light-Heavyweight champion, by beating Chavo Guerrero JNR here today in a match that was full of high-speed and high-risk manoeuvres. You winner, and still WWF Forum Light-Heavyweight Champion, Essa Rios (Mouldy Cheese.)
