World Wrestling Federation Championship
Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Kurt Angle vs. Rob Van Dam

Stone Cold Steve Austin and Kurt Angle have waged some bitter battles over the past few months. At SummerSlam, Angle seemed to have Austin all but beaten, until shenanigans on the part of the Alliance saved Austin's title. At Unforgiven, Angle made Austin tap out to the ankle lock to win the title, albeit under controversial circumstances. Then, on the Oct. 8 episode of RAW, Austin used interference by William Regal to take his title back from Angle.

Angle gets a chance to regain the title at No Mercy, but with one wild card thrown in. Rob Van Dam -- a man who has pinned Angle twice in the past month -- will participate in this Triple Threat Match.

The addition of Van Dam has perturbed the Texas Rattlesnake, who many fans speculate is threatened by Van Dam's recent success.

Although there are two Alliance members in this bout, many say that there is no way that Austin and Van Dam could convincingly work together, especially with the Federation Championship on the line. At No Mercy, it will be a classic bout when Stone Cold, Kurt Angle and RVD meet up for the richest prize in the game!

WCW Championship
The Rock vs. Chris Jericho

When Chris Jericho made his World Wrestling Federation debut on the Aug. 9, 1999, episode of RAW, he interrupted The Rock as the People's Champion was in the ring doing an interview. Since that first meeting, the two have had several battles, but never with stakes as high as this -- a Pay-Per-View match with the WCW Championship on the line.
Y2J has the reputation of being a superstar who can't win the "big match." Time and time again, he has come close, but hasn't been able to become a world champion.

The Rock, on the other hand, is the very definition of a big-game player. A six-time Federation Champion, Rock has reigned as WCW Champion since SummerSlam, upending such superstars as Booker T, Shane McMahon, and Rob Van Dam in that time.

Jericho is no slouch either -- far from it. Y2J has held the Intercontinental Title, Tag Team Title, European Title and Hardcore Title, and owns pinfall victories over Stone Cold Steve Austin, Triple H, and even Rock himself.

No Mercy will be one of the biggest opportunities of Chris Jericho's career, and it will also be a chance for him to erase his reputation as the guy who can't win the "big one." Of course, if he does it, it will have to be at The Rock's expense -- which is easier said than done.

Ladder Match for the Intercontinental Championship
Edge vs. Christian

Edge & Christian are no stranger to ladders. The duo won TLC Matches at both SummerSlam 2000 and WrestleMania X-Seven, and also emerged victorious from the Triangle Ladder Match at WrestleMania 2000. The pair also competed in a third TLC Match on a May 2001 episode of SmackDown!, and in an infamous Ladder Match against the Hardy Boyz at No Mercy 1999.

Since the duo broke up last month in Toronto, they have put each other through hell. But the Ladder Match at No Mercy may be the most brutal bout of them all. Both E&C know the intricacies of ladder matches, and they know how to get maximum impact.

With the Intercontinental Championship hanging above the ring, the two brothers will face their biggest challenge ever in the Ladder Match at No Mercy!

Undertaker vs. Booker T

Booker T claims that he has been disrespected since the day he first stepped foot in the World Wrestling Federation. He's out for respect at No Mercy when he goes one-on-one with the most respected superstars in Federation history -- the Undertaker.

For over a decade, Taker has been the conscience of the World Wrestling Federation. As of late, he has been preoccupied with the Bookerman, especially when Booker and Test took the WCW Tag Championship from Taker and Kane. But Taker got a measure of revenge as he cost Booker & Test the Tag Titles, as they lost them to the Hardy Boyz.

Booker T is a five-time former WCW Champion, an 11-time former WCW Tag Champion, a nine-time former TV Champion and a former U.S. Champion -- possibly the most respected athlete in WCW history. But when he goes head to head with the most respected athlete in Federation history, he'll need to be at the top of his game.

Test vs. Kane

Since joining the Alliance back in August, Test has been on fire. He has already won the WCW Tag Team Championship (with Booker T), and on his first day in the Alliance, he helped Diamond Dallas Page and Kanyon become Federation Tag Team Champions.

Test had made no secret that he joined the Alliance looking for opportunity -- opportunity he says he never received in the Federation. At No Mercy, he will be looking to seize that opportunity by upending Kane, a former World Wrestling Federation Champion who represents the best the Federation has to offer.

This rivalry dates back to a late-September episode of SmackDown!, when Test and Booker upended Undertaker and Kane for the WCW Tag Team Championship. Now, Test is again looking to score a big win -- but the Big Red Machine will also be out for blood!

First-Ever Lingerie Match
Torrie Wilson vs. Stacy Keibler

A quick survey question for our male fans:
Raise your hand if you're looking forward to this match for the intense brawling, the incredible psychology and the scientific matwork.

OK, now raise your hand if you're looking forward to seeing two sultry divas going at it while wearing lingerie.

That's what we thought!

Whatever your reason, there's no denying that when Stacy Keibler and Torrie Wilson are in the ring together, there's bound to be fireworks!

I think Chris Jericho will BEAT (not win, that don't make sense) the Rock. I think he'll turn heel soon.

You really think they'll let Jericho beat the Rock straight up? Never gonna happen. If Chris Jericho wins the title, he'll be helped by someone which will signal his heel turn.

But everyone's being aying that Jericho is a 'choke' artist, that he can't win the big ones, that's why I think he will win and I also think that he will win fairly.
