For me it started with Knowing me knowing you with alan partridge, I then tried to watch saturday night armastice (or which ever night it was on at the time) Then came coogans run made up of diffeerent characters but my favourite was the dearth of a salesman one with Gareth Cheeseman "I'm a tiger Grrrrrrrrrrrrr"
More Alan partridge followed with my favourite episode being the one where Alan watches the ladyboys film and spends the rest of the time denying any interest in them,
and the invention of lady boy drinks.
Tony Ferrino one of his cleverest creations, the christmas special that hardly anyone took seriously when he did his album advert hence the low sales (I've got one)
The album is good too with such good songs as:
"Taxi taxi", "Short term affair" with Bjork, "Papa bendi", "lap dancing lady", fishing for girls", "The valley of our souls"............ .
This album is good, but alot of my friends who are also steve coogan fans did not know it existed but only the single "just help yourself" and "bigamy at christmas".
I missed out on going to see his live show because of lack of funds on my part.
His appearance at the comedy awards as alan partridge singing don't go breaking my heart with Elton John was so funny. So I can't wait until the next alan partridge series rolls around.
I've probably missed out on some of his work:
mole in the updated wind in the willows film
the parole officer
that "film" with paul and pauline calf
the bbc audio tapes of the radio show with alan partridge
and various others.
To sum it up: genius
"hello Camp David"
"OH HELLO Alan"
"what are you having for breakfast the camp David"
"Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh mince"
