If anyone helped me then I would be very happy. :D
What I meant was that magic bounces once, so casting on yourself means the spell will hit him, and not keep bouncing. However, he may be clever enough to use his curaga spell on you, bouncing it into himself.
There is a save sphere very near there ya? As somebody said (sorry for not remembering the name) play blitzball until you get attack reels. If you managed to get the Jecht Shot early on, then this will be much easier.
I can't remember, is it possible to have Yojimbo by then? I think that's afterwards, and even if it is before, its a stupid and silly way to do things, but it is easy. Just pay the guy, and watch him kill things. Its pretty much cheating though.
As FFF says, training is the key though. Its easy to rush through the game, only to crash straight into a boss that seems absolutely invincible. All the difference could have been made if, for example, to satisfy your curiousity, you'd run back along the highground path to investigate something you missed first time, gaining you a few more levels, just enough to get you past that tricky boss. As Gagazet is a good area for opponents, you shouldn't have any trouble building your levels. Remember to save regularly though, you don't want to have your work wasted if you happen to bump into a tricky enemy unprepared. I can't remember if there is anything nasty up there, but its easy to get caught out if you aren't careful.
Also, don't forget your Aeons. They can stand in for you and take quite a pounding whilst also dishing out a great deal of punishment on your enemy. Obviously you don't want to just waste them, but if used wisely, they can be very helpful.
Personally, I think the best way to win a battle would be to enter the cheat code that makes Rikku and Yuna flash in unison. It doesn't matter if they are monsters or humans, males or females, they all stop and stare, giving you enough time to make a finishing blow. Now if only I could remember what that cheat code was...
But don't forget to neglect to use other magic, as that too will bounce back on you.
Cast reflect on it?
> Cast reflect on it?
> Train some more?
> Get your overdrives full?
> Kill it?
But it keeps using Curaga ang that gives it 9999 life.
