So there we are, third in Div 2, one of the most promising young forwards in the country, (Bobby Zamora) and no manager. Now we all know that in the lower divisions a good manager stands out like a sore thumb. Mainly cos they buy good players and go up! But an average manager goes nowhere. We needed to continue with our good run, so we needed a good manager. Only prob is, no good managers want to come to the Second Div.
Until.....Peter Taylor. Wow. I mean this is major!! This is the guy who last season was being set-up for the England job in a couple of years, (something I personally think he can still do). He took Gillingham up in his first year, he was unbeaten in 16 games in charge of the Eng U-21's. And now he's come to Brighton.
People have to give this guy a lot of respect, I mean he was being touted to get a scouting job for the FA, which would have been a nice cushy job until he got offered something else in the Prem, but respect to the guy, he wanted to get back in the hotseat.
Now Brighton have a great manager, and a team that can get them back into the First Division.
Come on you SEAGULLS!!!

His record with England U21's and Gillingham was first class and he must be one of the best up and coming managers around!!
