Manchester United, the most well known and supported side in the world, a Premiership side who's domination in domestic competitions has been absolutely incredible. But could it all be about to change? Man United are undisputedly one of the top teams in England, if not the very best, and they have had a fair amount of European success in recent years.

This season, the mighty Red Devils are up against a lot more, in Europe, Deportivo have done the double over them already, in the league Aston Villa, Leeds and Arsenal are all doing excellently, with Liverpool, Chelsea and Newcastle also huddled tightly after a rather interesting start in the new season.

Manchester United have won every single Premiership title bar 2 - when Blackburn won in 1995, and when Arsenal won in 1998, and so 7/9 makes them a pretty special side, and definitely the team to beat each and every season.

They haven't had the best starts this season, but I have no doubt that they will either be flying away at the top of the table by February, or at least will be in the main title contention this year, with such a strong side, full of internationals, and superstars, Man United are a very talented football club.

It's Alex Ferguson's last season, so he'll be looking for the 8th Premiership title to bring back to Old Trafford. At his dispersions he has a wealth of top quality players, in every position - Le Blanc, Johnsen at the back, with Silvestre left back, Gary Neville right back, and of course the crazy Barthez in goal.

Giggs on the left wing, Beckham on the right with Keane and the amazing Juan Sebastian Veron in the centre - their midfield is worth more than most other entire clubs! With the options of Paul Scholes, Andy Cole, Dwight Yorke and Ole Gunnar Solksjaer as well as the new boy Van Nistelrooy to choose from in the attacking line up, it's no wonder Man United have scored the most in the Premiership!!

They've also conceded nearly the most though, and I cannot really see the sense in getting rid of Stam, but in my honest opinion Barthez is just a bit too flamboyant at times for his own good. Trying to take the ball round strikers who play for Spanish champions is not a wise decision! Keep him a bit calmer and United won't concede so many, as he is an awesome keeper, just mad sometimes!

Man United have an amazing amount of fans, and they are probably the most supported team in the world, in my honest opinion I think their success is brought about because of the combined talent forming a brilliant football team - a team performance every game, as everyone has something to give each match. Be it Veron's superlative passing, Van Nistelrooy's penalty area finishing or Beckham's stunning free kicks, they all play as a unit, and that unit must be a nightmare to play against!

Man United will be saying goodbye to Alex Ferguson as their manager, he has an excellent record at the club and will be duly missed, and hopefully a decent manager will replace him!

They have a superb stadium, the right attitude in the team, and the passion and desire to win trophies and matches. Manchester United is not unbeatable, but as a team, they are unbreakable.

I support them, I always will.
