I'm sure, being Sony fans, you've read about the PSP, possibily having the same or similar power to the PS2.

Well, if you read that article again, you'll realise that the quote about the same parts being manufactured for the PS2 may be related to the PSOne playing hardware.

I'm not saying it's either of them, but don't get your hopes up just yet. It's too early to tell.

It may just have the same motor as the PS2. I expect big things though.

And the pricing news isn't all that great - SR news made a big deal of "£20! It's only £20!" after they'd just said the top price was £40. And how the hell do they work out that 50-60 euros is £40, but yet 20-30 euros is £20?

I think we can expect a Dreamcast quality system from what they have been saying.

By same parts, it may mean same LED's like on the PS2, or same buttons. :P

PSP - more powerful than PSone, less powerful than PS2.

Same parts? Doubt that. Too big, for a start.

I'd be very shocked if it had anywhere close to having PS2 power, surely it would be expensive for a start and it would also defy the whole point in PS2's surely? i think its also a much too bigger leap, even if its PS1 standard i'll be happy, but you're right PS2 "Parts" does not mean PS2 quality, i'd 'hope' for something in between, i'll keep my fingers crosswed, but i must say i'm excited about this handheld system.
