Celebrities are all over the press, always in the papers for something
these days and we can't seem to get them of the TV. Well on here it
should be no different. So lets take a look into the humorous world of
the celebrity gamers. ** A little aside, remember none of this is true,
all made up by my strange imagination.*
So where do we start?
What about Posh and Beck's
They go together like pea's and carrots, the famous celebrity couple
that are worth many millions. David decided that Brooklyn needed a little entertainment aside from watching mummy and daddy on TV so he decided what better way to do this than buy him is first console. The decision of which one to pick was very hard, you see they aren't to clever in the upstairs department,
"Why not buy them all" was the best Posh could come up with so they did. They set up the PS2, game cube and X-Box and let the little lad play away on them as they went away for some "other" entertainment. A short while later they came back to find the little lad playing with the boxes and listening to a bob the builder CD through the PS2. "That's a good tune, think he would duet with me?" said Posh, but David was to busy getting interested in the boxes to care what she was saying.
They finally realised that the boxes weren't that much fun and got back to playing games. It didn't take long before Beck's was hooked, he
played non stop for hours, this went on to become days. "David, Alex is on the phone he would to know when you will be in?"
"NEVER" blasted Beck's as he completed yet another race in GT3,
"Alex, David is feeling a little poorly today, he should be better in a
few days, he'll be back then"
This gaming addiction put a lot of pressure on their marriage, Brooklyn who the consoles were intended for never got to even touch them, he could watch but not play. Posh was under a huge amount of pressure with work and trying to save the family that she could only see one way out. She rushed out and went to her local special reserve shop. "Spice girls game for the PSX please." After finally getting away from Snuggly and co (wanted autographs and pictures) she rushed home and popped it in the console. Within minutes of it loading Beck's had snapped out of his addiction
"What in God's name is this drivel?
How dare you put that in there, I've
had enough of this, I'm off to training."
With the aide of a crap game Posh had managed to cure his gaming addiction and save the family. Just goes to show that crap games have a use after all.
So who else has been unable to resist the games?
What about the super pop princess that is Miss Britney Spears.
Well after being able to leave her house due to loads of acne ridden
kids and strange looking old men she decided that she needed more home entertainment. "I know, I'll star in a computer game so these people have something better to do than hang about out there" she though. Within hours she had a new console from Sony and designers working on how to create such a wonderful game. She sat down playing game after game, singing while she played.
"mmmm baby baby, How was I supposed to kick his ass.. Its a blooming' disgrace. mmm I'll beat you baby one more time "
The designers finally came up with an idea, a game where you controlled Britney and had to beat up the likes of Christina Aguilera, Many (Give her some) Moore and other so called pop idols. Britney loved the idea,
"Kind of like foxy boxing isn't it" The designers had huge smiles on
their faces as they left to get to work on it. Designers being geeks
don't really have much time for social relationships so extra hidden
programming was written into the game which gave it an overall rating of "18". Nope not because the violence or gore but due to the fact that
certain elements of clothing just seem to disappear and get torn off.
The game was hugely popular and made Miss Spears one of the most popular females around. The Big question is, When will they ever make a game like this and will special reserve sell it?
Next up we have Tom Cruise
After splitting with Nicole and the kids he decided he will take their console, he became a little addicted to it and ended up having to buy a Nintendo game cube on import to feed his habit. Since then a new lady came into his life and little time was spent with the console or so Miss Cruz though, one night while she was supposed to be away she sneaked in to surprise Tom when she found him in bed snuggling his game cube.
"What do you think you are playing at?"
"It's nothing dear, I-I-I-I errrr I was playing it and I must have fell asleep"
Penelope decided that this would just be a one off but later found out that this was in fact a regular thing Tom did. Maybe why Nicole left?? He would sneak out of bed and play it then hug it for a while then return to bed before the morning. Enough was enough and Penelope decided it is her or the games. Tom Cruise is now in a rehab clinic getting treatment for serious gaming addiction.
Arnold Swarzenegger
He hates everything that is gaming. This man loves films but hates games and especially games based on films. Recently he smashed up his kids console in the middle of the night and blamed an intruder which he scared off.
He has never liked games, well he once did but after a freak accident involving a control pad, a goldfish and his friend John. Things haven't been the same since. Nobody knows the truth on all this but rumours are his friend John threw a control pad after beating Arnie which accidentally hit the goldfish bowl and caused Arnie's favourite pet to die of un-natural causes.
Still is this a good enough reason to hate gaming so much? Is there more reasons than we know about?
He recently was arrested for trying to destroy the Microsoft X-Box saying "it was the most Evil product available to children, its large controllers could do more than kill a fish." He is currently receiving medical treatment to control his anger, if all else fails he may end up in jail or another victim of living life without games.
