Instead of simply swapping codes with Tom Nook all the time, it seems you may well be able to exhange gifts over the internet via e-mail (in the "real" world), much quicker, more efficient and cheaper than doing things by post or by hand.
Who knows how far this could go...
Perhaps you'll even be able to send your town data over the 'net to another Animal Crossing player, so he can download it onto a Memory Card 59 via the SD Card-thingy, so you no longer have to worry about losing your spare memory cards in the post, or having people "borrow" them and your data, without actually giving it back.
Just imagine how many more towns you'd be able to visit with the number of Animal Crossing player increasing, by the week - and how easy it would be to just... do!
A new town for every-day-of-the-year, perhaps?
You really could find yourself playing this game for months-longer!
And, if this proves to be a success with Animal Crossing (and perhaps Phantasy Star On-line), not only would Nintendo never really 'have' to go on-line, but it could, perhaps, even benefit gamers playing the latest Mario Kart and even Zelda games.... Maybe...
Animal Crossing really is far from 'all that' anyway. It's fun for a week but beyond that you'll be having to force yourself to play it by gun point. It really is very repetetive.
How will this game NOT get an American release??
They put the time-and-effort into doing it last-time, and just look at how well it has sold since then.
People will even go to the lenghts of importing it - just because it is that-damn-good!
Almost everything Japan gets, America gets!
And with a FreeLoader, we can get it, too. :)
