I read that for SEO it is better to actually name your image with your site keywords in mind eg for me brown_rat NOT image 1234
My question is
1. with the various bits of freeola stuff in front eg
https://sitebuilder.freeola.com/ media/ images/user-images/7964/
then the image name will it still make a difference? giving it a "proper" name or does all the other stuff in front make it a waste of time

Also do use 'alt' and 'title' attributes together - may seem to be one and the same thing, but Firefox recognises 'title' but not 'alt' :-)
...a few pages have been done, but need a lot of work renaming the images!
Thanks for the info Hmmm...

In theory using descriptive image file names will help improve results for Search Engine 'image searches' (along with other factors like Image Alt tag/Image Title tag/Page content).
The SEs will ignore the Freeola part of the path and focus on the name of the jpg/gif/png.
