after e-mailing several retailers, they still didnt give me the reply i wanted.
All i want to know is what format the disc is that comes with the eyetoy? Is it cd (blue disc) or dvd (clear)! Why u ask, because like others my playstation2 has blue disc fever:ie it wont play blue discs!

youve just given me the exact same replies i got from the retailers, and have totally avoided the actual question. Ive tried all that crap and it dont work!, i bought several disc cleaners and they dont work, ive opened the ps2 up and that dont work, and that diagnostic thing too. All i want to know is the format the disc is for eyetoy, i dont care about how to repair my ps2-the only option i have is gettin a new one cos i aint paying for it to be repaired when itll break again.

Don't put a disk in. When the PS2 screen appears, press triangle to go into options. Set the diagnostics on. This will focus the laser more, and should solve your problem. If you have any trouble doing what I just said, ask.
