As no one has had an mgs2 topic for a while, i thought i just had to post one, this game is going to rule. After Seeing the latest trailer, i was simply gobsmacked, and i am a bit upset that we don't get this game until feb/march next year, should be a good b'day present for me though :), the action the tension, the suspense, will all be back in Metal Gear Solid 2

Here is a Lowdown on the characters..

Solid Snake

Now Working alone, with the help if the techno dude Octagon, snake believes in fighting for what is right, his new look imo suits him, he looks mean, the obvious aim for snake is to stop or override the takeover of Metal Gear, But you never know who he might run into....snake now has many enemies..

Revolver Oncelot

Obviously this guy got away in mgs2, Now apparently using Liquid snakes arm and armed with his trusty revolver, so its no surpirse we see him in the sequal, trying to forfill his plans yet again to steal metal gear for terrorist use, the ninja has stopped him before, can he be stopped again?..

Ninja

Who is this guy?, it can't be the same one from mgs?, or can it be?, i guess we will find out, but whoever it is they have no name and is after revolver, but will snake get in his way or will this be a teamup between snake and the ninja?

Octagon

Formally a developer of Metal Gear Rex, octagon now helps snake in the funded operation , He will no doubt help snake during his mission , and hack the information snake needs, whats with that bired he has though? strange..

Olga Gurlukovich

We Saw her in the demo, all we really know is that she was pregnant and that her father was that russian , but he has no rank..what part does he play?, olga is a member of Spetsnaz and by the looks of it is very devoted to her unit, she seems to be very stubbon towards her father.

Fortune

Looks to be on bad terms with snake, but what is the connection between her father and snake, snake says he never killed her father, but its unclear as to who her father was, i suppose we will find out more when its released on this front, fortune is a trained soldier, and for some bizzare reason wants snake to end her luck on the battlefield, she is armed with her Railgun, and she can dodge bullets, she isnt going to be an easy challenge for snake though..

Of Course there are other characters in which we do not know the names of, one is the vampire that can walk on water, and who is armed with a knife, he seems to have some sort of alliance with Fortune from the video, he obviously as well wants to hunt snake down (who isnt!) and kill him, he has a nasty gash on his face, maybe snake gave him that?, he looks mean as well..
Another Character we have all seen in the new trailer is a guy armed with an assult rifle type gun in which he spins around, also he is armed with two swords and looks to be in very heavy armor, maybe he gave the vampire the gash on his face?, who could he be?, all of the speculation will be solved upon the release of the game, the characters certainly sound interesting.

Thanks for Reading :-)
