Now how often was it that you see an orginal game? Not very often now if you ask me. Yea there are still some being made such as Pikmin (I think thats what its called) from Nintendo. But how many games have you played or own that havent been done before in some way or another? We have all been someone running around shooting people, saving the planet, saving other planets or other things such as killing Zombies. Where as it used to be where a game was ddifferent because it had, a never before heard story line, or it approached things in a different way. But at the moment the main thing that makes games different is graphics. I mean how many games have had sequels? Or how many have been re-made, with the only differance of maybe a few new levels or better graphics? The thing that makes games different (orginal) is now beccoming thin on the ground because most of it has been done before. Will it all come to a time when it has all been done before, and games become obsolete because the only thing better is doing it in real life! Or is the question when will games become obsolete?

*Shaneo grabs Jackhammer from pocket in a matrix-like sequence and gets ready for any spammers that come his and Tom's way*

That would be great for those Spam Wars I write!

pikmen LOL!!!!!! :) yeah very true but there are some innovitive games out there and even though games such as FF have so many sequels they are still class games. But there are games wich may seem opbsolete but arent [such as Heroes of M&M] and ones wich completly redefine genders. teken for example. Or underplayed games such as the Bloady Roar series. Then the sims comes along. New genre new gameplay new everything and a class game. Although making to much of a game sequels prequels etc have become a bit tediouse you shouldnt underestimate the power of game developers such as Shigeru or other big brains.
