in my opinion i think that link would win in a fight but that has nothing to do with the gameplay values of each game, they both have a good series of games and i like the Zelda series more than the mario series (excluding the mario kart series that is awesome).
Zelda. Hands down.
Mario is more pick up and play fun... whilst Zelda is more in depth epic...
They are both very different... Mario is fun from start to finish... in the end Zelda is more magical... but only in the end.
