One of the main aspects of the WWF's popularity is the music. Music is very important for hyping the crowd, and even the wrestler up for his big match. The fans go crazy when they hear their favourite wrester's entrance music come on, and it's not just one type of specific music. There's rap, rock, dance, punk-rock, heavy metal and many more. Another advantage is that garage music is only used very rarely (I apologise now to all you garage-lovers out there. This review does in no way represent the WWF's views, and if you do like garage please refrain from complaining. We recommend throwing a cream-covered banana at your computer screen repeatedly, if you want to get rid of that excess rage immediately.)

Anyway, the WWF realised how important music was to their industry, and they decided that every year or so they would bring out an album, containing the latest and greatest WWF tunes. The latest edition to the most successful series is Volume 5, containing entrance songs from top superstars such as Triple H, Kurt Angle and my favourites, Too Cool.

The first song is Triple H's entrance theme, "The Game" by Motorhead. It has an excellent drum beat, some great words and has to be one of my favourites on this album. Usually I'm not into heavy metal, but I really enjoy listening to this.

The second is K-Kwik's rap, "Rowdy". It's got a decent tune, and the words are quite good, although a little weird at times. Unfortunately, K-Kwik has been released from the WWF now, but the song still remains for anyone wishing to bring back some of his best moments.

The third is Tazz's theme song, and it's called "If You Dare." Again, this song has a decent drum beat, but it repeats itself way too much. In fact, the whole song basically IS a drum beat, apart from the odd noise that sounds strangely like a life machine...hmmmmm. Not one of my favourites, but it's okay.

Next is the lovely Lita's tune, "It Just Feels Right." Again, this song isn't brilliant, but that may be because it's not my type of music, and a lot of other people like it, especially rock fans.

On we go to mysterious Kane's entrance theme, "Out Of The Fire." This song uses the organ and some really slow, scary music to try and show you how much pain Kane feels inside. This an excellent song, and I don't know anyone who doesn't like it.

Then we go to "Latino Heat", Eddie Guerrero's theme song. This song is very catchy, and very 'Mexican'. The words are easy to learn, and it has a decent drumbeat.

Track number 7 is Billy Gunn's "I've Got It All". This song is probably the most popular on the album, as it's very upbeat, very fast, and it's got a really cool tune! The words are excellent as well, and are very easy to relate to. In my opinion, the words say to me that I should be grateful for what I've got in life.

Off we go to Raven's "What About Me." This song is quite slow and weird, especially with the cool Raven sounds in the background. A bit repetitive though.

Number 9 is Chyna's "Who I Am", which is okay, but again, it's reptitive, and I don't like the tune that much. And at one point in the song the words go, "Don't treat me like a woman, don't treat me like a man." Erm...

Kurt Angle's song is next. It's got a cool tune all the way through, and the main instrument, the trumpet really does make you humm along to the tune. An excellent song, which suits an Olympic Gold Medal winner.

Rikishi's song is GARAGE!! GAH!! Well, fortunately, Rikishi is not using this music anymore, and I can't really make a fair opinion because, as you know, garage is certainly in my Room 101.

Next are my 2 favourites, "Shooter", which is Chris Benoit's song, and "Turn It Up!", which is my favourites Too Cool's tune.
Benoit's tune has a very cool drum beat, and doesn't repeat itself over and over like many others do.

"Turn It Up" is my overall favourite. It's a brilliant dance tune, with really cool drum beats, great voice effects, it's very fast and upbeat, and it really makes you want to get up and dance!! *Ant puts Turn It Up on, dances for a bit, and then sits back down and begins to type again.*

The final song "Pie", a song that The Rock decided to make with the help of Slick Rick, is rather strange, especially the story The Rock tells us about how his car breaks down and he tries some pie from a Chinese neighbour or something... But, if you ignore the words, then you'll definitely like it. This is the final track, and is a great ending to an even better album.

So, I'd give this album 9/10. A definite for WWF fans, and a maybe for non-WWF fans.
Well done again WWF on another great music compilation.

Thanks for reading, Ant.

PS-Yes, I know many of you on here don't like WWF, but this is the music forum and...gah, you won't listen to WWF fan like me. Lets just say this post shows how ignorant us wrestle-fans really are. {:)

Agression was the best WWF CD around. Looking forward to what Andy said.

You don't need to like WWF to like this CD though. Great topic Anty.

Who needs to buy a CD when you can download it! :D I got most of them. They are mostly okay. Some get very repetitive.

He's changed his gimmick now. Much better music, and is now known as "The One" Billy Gunn.

How would you know that anyway?? :D
