Could someone please tell me if the Dreamcast scart runs through the AV socket? I have just got a scart with audio sockets and I canit get a picture. Will I need to tune my TV in or will it automatically go through my AV channel? ANy information will be appreciated, thanks.

The quality difference is unbelievable. The picture is 100% clearer and with it hooked up to my Surround Sound I can play REZ in the pure sense.
I have to run mine on the AV channel...
All is sorted :) It doesn't need tuning it runs through my AV socket bu I have so many wires that I was actually trying to run it through my Xbox scart. Oh how foolish I seem.

Just got it through the post this morning. Does it run through AV or does it require tuning?
My Dreamcast had a loose scart connection. I had to prop the scart connection up with a book. Try fiddling with how the connector sits in the machine.
