I've watched it every now and then, if there's nothing else on. My parents both watch it avidly... and neither of them are University educated. That said, my dad used to live pretty much within spitting distance of the course.
I don't see what's so special about it myself, but it's something to watch, there doesn't seem to be much rowing on TV; either that, or I miss it. But I'm not missing much. :)

I never really see the exicitement.. I've watched two ever and it's never been close, even if it has it's not exciting.
I s'pose for me, a 50% chance of winning in any sport is never enough to make it exciting. Now, maybe if there was say Harvard and Yale it might be a little more interesting.
The people that watch it are really those with free time on their hands on a Saturday and probably anyone who has any association with Oxbridge; via family in the team, being at either of the Unis themselves e.t.c

If I'm in I'll watch it but I don't make a habit of it really.
I watched the first half of one a few years ago and I saw the end of the really close one that Cambridge won - or was it Oxford? That was a few years ago too I think.
Other than that, I might watch it if I'm not doing anything. I'll probably check the result out if I don't catch it.
