Fantastic moment in Popstars tonight when Darius walked back in for an audition. Lots of mock humility so he cannot be charged again with being an overbearing ego maniac. Does his audtion and its a rendition of a Seal song. The panel of the country's finest pop brains - is that an oxymoron - decided to give him a second chance. However he is warned that he needs to stop being "cheesy". The man is pure cheese. There isn't a genuine bone in his body. He is an ego on legs. Hysterical.

It was Bert.

Has no one else ever seen the 'Bert is Evil' website?

Don't know if it's still up and running, but it was one of the most popular websites of 1997.

No offence taken whatsoever. As for will he win? I doubt it. They'll keep him hanging for the entertainment value and when he does another Jacko Heal the World number chuck him out. Did you see Ant and Dec doing an impersonation of him? Very funny.

I reckon the whole thing is actually being bankrolled by middle eastern terrorists. There is a current battle of cultures going on. The CIA managed to implant Ernie from Sesame Street into pro-bin Laden posters, thereby implying that he was a muppet; great stuff boys. Upon realising that they had been duped, the terrorists paid for a Pop Idols series so they could show that Western culture is indeed an oxymoron. Pop Idols rivals Geri Halliwell in being th biggest piece of pro-Taliban propaganda known to man. You don't even need to say 'look at these figureheads of Western society', the shallowness of these media wh*res is enough to sicken anyone.

I watched one episode, just so I knew what it was.

I saw a kid with a stammer from hell that sang beautifully and got through.
And some desperate wannabes get shot down in flames.

Seemed to be another "reality show" thing that is as manufactured as hell.

Each to their own though.
