Satellites have been used to model the tracks in WRC to prefection, the graphics look great, the courses are huge and thats one thing that GT3's rally mode doesn't offer, One thing i like the sound of in WRC is the fact that your car can fall and tumbling down hills and steep banks, if you thought GT3 had great lens flare effects, then you will stuggle to pick which is the best , the effects look amazing in WRC, it has fully 3D crowd, which look great and run around, adds realism to the game, the cars look very real after you have smashed them up too. GT3's graphics are hard to fault, but if there is one thing that WRC beats it hands down in is the Damage, if GT3 had this feature then it could possibly even rival WRC's , as it stands though GT3 and WRC both have better graphical effects than each other and its hard to fault either game

Although no of us can comment on the handling of The cars in WRC, i will give u a brief summary of what to expect, you can make your own judgement on how it sounds compared to GT3, one feature is that the cars are effected by damage, which sounds great, but it may get frustrating, trying to complete the course in a nackered car, but it makes it so more real than GT3, because GT3 has no damage, so you can bounce off walls, which help you a great deal sometimes, Reading PSM2 it says that WRC *demands* precision and this is 'real' and way more real than GT3..lets hope it is.
WRC has more view modes, and one that sounds very interesting is the in-car view where u can hear and see your co-driver, which sounds great. i can't really sum up the sounds as i obviously havent played the games, but do you all think WRC has a good chance of beating GT3's rally mode?, i personally think it almost already has beaten it but GT3 is not based on rally , so it may not sound fair comparing the two, or will it fall short of beating the colin mcrae series?, its going to be a tough battle, but will WRC come out on top?
what do you guys think?
The graphics of WRC are good, looking on PSW's dvd the cars are all very detailed and tracks look impressive. But look at GT3, this game was pretty much desighned to show off the PS2's power, and it certainly does. It will take a lot to beet the graphics of GT3.
The gameplay in WRC will be worlds apart from GT3 as its a game all about rallying.
Basicly, WRC is the best rally game when it comes out, GT3 has a good go at it, and proves it can compete, but that really just a road game. Soon though, the new McRea game comes out, and i expect that to take the crown of rally games once again.
