The game looks better all the time, not sure whether to pre-order Jap or USA version (out 25/7 and 25/8 respectively) - wonder how much Jap text they'll be ?, sure beats this October when it's due out here.

I probably will wait and get the USA versions but would buy Jap ones if the release date was that much earlier.
I have Bomberman Kart Jap Import on PS2 and must admit there are loads of menu's in Japanese, took me ages to work 'em out.
Thanks to the American chap who wrote the review on gamefaqs if he's reading this - doubt he is really - but that explained a lot of the menu's.

Why would you want a game in a language you can't understand? Especcially when it's such a big game like Mario Kart.

hopefully Mario Kart will be getting a "late summer" release in Jap land, there are rumours it will be out for the kids school hols over there ?

It's because Freeloader 1.4 didn't work with Resi Zero I think. That's why they bought out version 1.6

Yea its the drought but who cares as you can get saving up...
I am waiting to see if its compatible with Freeloader before I go charging out with a pre-order. I will most likely pick up the JAP version as there is positively nothing out on either the XBOX, GameCube or PS2 over the coming months that I am interested in.
