There are not many films I can say I've had to interupt due to a full bladder that must be emptied. Only during two films have I had this problem - Jurassic Park, Titanic (but I think most people did - it was so long!). However now another has been added - American Pie 2. And it was during this film that more than any other time in my life during a film have a wished I had gone to the toilet before hand or not bought and drank that medium sized coke.

Because American Pie 2 is simply one of those films you cannot even bare to miss the slightest minute as in that time you could have been laughing for such a long time. To stress how funny this film was I went for 30 minutes with a full bladder (and I mean full) just so I didn't have to miss anything however 30 minutes later I could take no more (full bladders and laughing uncontrollably don't mix trust me).

I went into the cinema not expecting much but secretly expecting a lot if you know what I mean. I'd seen American Pie 2 had got rather good reviews but because of the "sequel rule" ie. no sequels can be better than the original, I tried to lower my expectations to avoid disappointment.

But really I needn't have worried. This was a joy to watch like watching a fresh version of the original. The gags were as hilarious as the first. Jim's Dad was incredibly funny to watch and the scenarios gave me stitches from laughing!

The story was completely different from the original. I really didn't see how they were going to make a story that was good but some how they did it. They set it after going to university and they are all reunited. Then the group of friends after the annual Stiflers Party (which this time gets shut down) get a holiday home where they throw wild parties, get a summer job painting houses in the hope of having their best summer ever.

The crude humour that made American Pie so good to watch is still going strong with the introduction of some lesbians who will kiss each other if Jim and Stifler kiss, and hold each others bums if Finch and Stifler will (you get the idea! :D). And the film takes the first film one step further with the first reuniting of Finch and Stifler (Finch if you remember slept with Stiflers mother and he walked in on them).

The film is incredibly funny however is let down by some bits of the plot. Although it is better than average you get the feeling it has gone wrong in some places. Nadia seems to be a very different character in this film to what she was in the first. I can't explain it but she seems different in some way. However despite a few flaws in the scripts the jokes were hilarious.

However I'd suggest you make sure you are familiar with the first before visiting the cinema as many of the jokes cannot be appreciated without knowledge from the first (however they are still funny).

Absolutely hilarious film with so much lessons to teach us boys. The first showed us the things that can happen with *ahem*intercourse with a pie. This one shows us that we should always check before we use lubricants!

See this films at all costs even if you are *ahem* underage this is one film worth your money.

I saw it lasy night with a group of friends and we couldn't stop laughing all the way through. I hadn't seen the first one but I still loved this one. Quality film. Absolutely hilarious.

Funniest part:

"That's kinda the way you kiss your mom"

Stifler (to finch): "DON'T SAY A WORD!!!"
