Is this good?

Firstly the price, secondly, how long it will be able to run top games for.

What needs to be down/up-graded?

Sounds good, but take a look either at the MaxxPC's or go to Dell, they are really good.

I cant get a 19" you see.

I have to have it in a small room(my bedroom), otherwise the price would be down nearly £250 to a 17"

The VAT inclusive price is £1249.03

Anything that can be down or up graded, except the monitor problem?

Price is a bit expesive if you have to pay vat on it. If not then it is a pretty good deal. Would get a 19" monitor as someone else said.

Does seem a bit expensive, but you'll be fine with gaming - although I'd choose a 19" over a TFT panel monitor, usually around the same price...

Also, beware with the cordless keyboard - not a problem most of the time, but when the batteries start going flat then your data will get lagged being sent to the PC, making games react slowly.

The price seems a bit dear to me but it won't have any trouble playing the latest games.

Games are constantly becoming better, so if you want to be able to run top games all the time then I think you have to upgrade every year or two.
