Yeah there based in sheffield where i live but sometimes the prices drop and then they shoot right up again. So if your gonna order off them wait and see what happens with the prices. A little advice to people though, wait till Intel release there P4 4.0GHz chip and the price of the current P4's will plumet.

Estar II Midi Tower ATX Black 300W
Elite K7S6A (266MHz FSB)
AMD Athlon XP 2400 (2.00GHz)
512Mb PC2100 DDR SDRAM
80Gb Western Digital ATA100/7200
16x MSI DVD-ROM
Sparkle GeForce FX5200 128Mb DDR 8x
Creative SB Live Digital 5.1
56k Internal Modem
Microsoft Wireless Desktop Optical
15” Dell M770 Monitor

I've just built this system for my mate and it only cost £477.23, which isn't bad saying he said he wanted to pay between £450 and £500. I used www.aria.co.uk for the parts but i'm sure you'll find cheapers parts if you browse the net a little more.

I would suspect that at that price, quite a few of those components are going to be sub-quality. If you're going for a cheep system, don't get a 120GB hard disk, you'll never fill it, go for a 40GB, 60GB or 80GB drive instead. And make sure, for the love of god, it isn't made by IBM.

Don't skimp on RAM either, make sure you get good quality stuff (and at least 512MB of it). Don't go overboard with the processor, an XP2400 is amply quick (there tends to be a sweet spot around £70-£80 above which it's not worth getting better). Ditto the graphics card - unless you want to be playing the likes of Doom3 et al full speed + detail, a £70 card will easily suffice.

Yeah thats my current pick. More of a mid range card, but with a decent price.

Although I really want a 9800...

Go with a Radeon 9600 Pro 128Mb DDR, they are a budget card retailing at around £130.

If I was you I would try and stretch your budget a little more. Spend some more money and get a Radeon 9500 Pro as there good performance for little cash. Getting a crap graphics card will mean that you wont be able to play the latest games in a decent setting.

If your only wanting to play Morrowind and not bother with games like Halflife 2 and Doom 3 then probably a FX5200 or a Radeon 9000 would do.

It is better than the Radeon 9000 though. And it isn't like he had a huge budget. I personally would pay a bit more and get something like a Radeon 9500.
