Roadsters have more fancy cars than even David Beckham can only dream about. You can change the colour of them just by just tapping the Z trigger on your handset there are plenty to choose from. The controls are easy enough to master. A is to accelerate and B is to break, also if you want to go into reverse gear just pull back the analogue stick and press Z when your in reverse you can break as normal.
There are four modes of gameplay, the Roadsters Trophy, Time Trial and Multi-player.
The Roadsters Trophy mode is a championship in which three classes of cars compete to win the ultimate trophy, the Roadsters Trophy. There are three classes of cars, class C containing cars of less than 250 horsepower class B containing cars with less than 350 horsepower and A class with cars more than 350 horsepower.
In order to compete in the next level you must win the previous class championship eg. Of you are in a class c championship and want to advance to the class b championship you must win the class c championship, also in order to compete in any championship you must pay an entrance fee which guarantees that youíll get all the sets of tyres you need for the championship and it also guarantees that you can compete in the races.
The entrance fee goes up in price depending on what class you want to compete in, the most youíll ever pay for an entrance fee is £100,000. But alas before you can start to even compete in the trophy or any other mode you must choose a driver. There are 8 in total. Prize money will be given at the end of each championship race. The money you get will depend on the position you finish in. If you win the championship you will be given extra prize money, this also depends on your performance. If you earn enough money you will be able to upgrade your car. You can do this by going into the garage. Here are the different upgrades and what they do
There are four types of normal tyres,
Dry tyres: these are used for dry racing but lose grip rapidly if used when itís raining.
Wet tyres: if the road starts to get wet you should pit and use these wet tyres.
Studded tyres: these are used when the road is icy, but the lose grip in deep snow.
Snow tyres: Yep you guessed it, there used when the road is covered in deep snow.
Engine upgrade: with this you can increase the power of your car, but it costs a lot.
Turbo: only a few engines can have a turbo fitted to them, but with this you will be able to boost your acceleration at certain Rpmís
A racing exhaust: this little baby squeezes some more oomph out of you engine and allowing you to increase your acceleration.
Gear ratio modification kit: with this you can change the gear ratios of your car. Here are the three gear ratios, short long and normal gear ratios.
Suspension modifier: this allows you to change you suspension settings, soft hard and normal are your options.
Super tyres: these beauties give you 10% more grip than normal tyres, but unfortunately the entry fee you pay at the start of the season does not cover them. They can only be used once, so use them wisely.
There are ten challenging circuits that can be fully reversed and mirrored, so have fun.
The time-trial mode is where you can brush up on your driving skills and improve your times, when you first start the time-trial mode only the class c cars are available you will be able to unlock the other classes by winning each championship. Your drivers name will be displayed beside each lap record you break. The car you drove will also be displayed next to the lap record.
The quick race mode lets you compete in a race with other opponents without having to play in the championship mode. All you have to do when you select quick race is select the driver your course and the class of car you would like to use.
In multi-player mode you and up to four of your friends can compete in a championship.
You donít have to pay an entrance fee either.
If you would like to improve your driving skills let me help.
If you find yourself in a slide that you did not intend to perform you must steer into the slide. EG. If the back of the car is facing to the left hand side to correct it you must steer to the left if the back of the car is sliding to the left you must steer to the left if the back of the car is sliding to the right you must steer to the right.
The right tyre choice is also critical if for example it is raining you must choose the right type of tyre for the job, otherwise you will lose grip and your lap times will suffer a great deal.
In my view Roadsters is a masterpiece, and I will never forget about this game, unlike some of you have.
So if youíre into fast, fancy and customisable cars, then Roadsters is the game for you .

Good post and review. I will be looking for this game but you could have shortened your review by not describing to us the above information. "Gear ratio modification kit" does exactly what it says it is ! I don't need to know what wet, dry and snow tyres are for !
I hope you enjoy it.
