This is kind of an apology/explanation. On GT3, I thought I was 99.8%. It turns out, I was only 99.0%.
Last night I spent 2 hours 25 minutes doing Arcade Time Attack - Complex String. I did it over and over and over, and actually only finished the course 4 times. On the fourth one, I finally beat the time set by KY himself.
So... my hopes are up... I`m expecting loads of cool end sequences and a few polyphony cars... and instead, I get another Esperante, and nothing else!
Why? I go back to Game Status, and apparently I`m only 99.0% through the game!! I couldn`t believe it. What had I missed??
I started checking all the tournaments... and eventually found that four Endurance races hadn`t been done! Why? I thought I`d done them... In fact I had, but I`d saved them on the wrong memory card. I was 99.0% and I`d done the four endurance races, so I assumed I was 99.8%.
Anyway, I knew I could still do the endurance races, as I`d done them easily before, so I set out to finish them now. (Doing the endurance races was a much better alternative to doing the complex string course on the other card). I did three endurance races last night, which is why I`m exhausted now, so I just have one more to do tonight, and then I`ve finished.
However... this is the strange part..... Having now completed three endurance races and also the time attack I`d expect my percentage to be up at 99.8% now, but instead, it has stayed where it is - on 99.0%.
This is the bit I wanted to ask Cooldawn! When you got to 100% did it pause on 99.0%, and then jump to 100% at the end? I am hoping that it waits until you`ve done the whole lot, then fills in the last percent for you all at once. Did you find this? What was the last thing you did on the game? Lastly, did you sell any cars on route, could that be why it is stuck at 99.0%?
Sorry for any confusion with the 99.8% post, I was sure I had done it. Anyway, all I have to do now is complete the Rome endurance race this afternoon, then I`ll know for sure. I`ll come and post tonight and say if its worked or not.
