Just wondered if anyone here has ever had a PC system from SR and what they thought of it, yknow, setup, quality, reliability, what tech support was like (if you needed it) etc

Y'see my crusty old AMD 750mhz is showing it's age as it cranks away with it's 96mb of RAM, failing DVD/CDR combo drive, and ancient ATI RAGE 128 card. And I want to play the new Tomb Raider and Half Life 2 :)

Another thing about building your own pc is that it isn't overloaded with the utterly pointless poop that people like Packard Bell put on their machines.

Well all parts will have a 1 year waranty and most, like the CPU have a 3 year.

But as you said, monitor, keyboard and os do cost alot.

Computer system costs are not made high by hardware, but software. It's all them n0rty licenses.
