Yes, im STILL trying to grasp emulator technology, and i want to be clear.

if i have a CD that will run on a playstation, i.e GT2, what do i need to make it compatible with a PC? Do i need some gear like software? if so, price and location please.

straight answers aswell.

I haven't been emulating for a while, too complicated for me but I do remember trying out a PSX emulator. You had to pay for it mind, but you could download a trial version of the software, and low and behold it worked.

Haven't tried looking since though because for the life of me I can't seem to get most emulators to... er... emulate.
