I'm sounding like a little kid now, aren't I?

lol!
As far as i'm concerned the only rule which i stead fastly would never agree to is:
Those stupid people who think you can pick up the white and relocated it when you have to shots. Possibly the most stupid attempt at a rule ever and a lame attempt at malco-ordinated people to cheat. once that balls on the table it doesn't leave it until it goes down a pocket or accidentally gets knocked of it.
You will just have to agree on the rules between you

Before playing agree on the rules. Works every time.
Oh yeah, if you pot just the black off the break you win.
You foul and your opponent gets two shots.
Pot the black before all your colour and you lose
Pot the white after the black (i.e. the white rolls in after it) and you lose
If you pot both colours on the break you can go for either until you or your opponent pots
That's what I have always used in bars and stuff.
My rules:
- Pot the white and your opponent get a free shot, and on this free shot can play for any colour ball, but on every other shot, you play for your nominated colour
- If you pot one ball on the break, that is your nominated colour
- If you pot more than one ball of any sequence, the table is open and you may pot any ball to nominate its colour
- Pot the black o nthe break to win
- Pot the black when you're not supposed to and you lose
- If there are no more of your nominated colour on the table, and you foul when playing the black, you lose.
- Pot the white on the break and it is re-spotted and the game continues
- Pot the white on any shot and it is respotted and the game continues
- Pot the white when playing the black and you lose
- Pot one of your opponents balls and you give away a free shot as mentioned earlier in one of the other rules
- When playing a shot, at least one ball must hit a cushion
I think that's all my rules. There's probably more though, knowing my memory!
