The long awaited PS2 has arrived. The boy doesn't see it til Saturday BUT there is a label on the box saying 'Do not accept if label is damaged or if you read "void"' and both are so very true. What does this mean? I opened the box very carefully, haven't set the thing up yet, not really my job. Another big BUT Where is the scart lead? So well advertised in Special Reserve and yet not in box. I could have got this off the shelf at any local store for £219.99,no extra cost, and been totally happy 11 days ago. I came to Special Reserve for the SCART LEAD.
I didn't have a true scart lead either.

Does the "Void" appear on the special sealing tape?
If so, and the box is damaged, return it. Is there a lead in there at all? PS2 comes with a composite lead, which plugs into the PS2 and has three phono plugs - red, white and black - and an adapter block to connect it to a SCART socket. It doesn't come with a true SCART lead as standard.
If you have neither of these, and the box has been opened, then it has been tampered with and you should not accept it.
