If you can,think back to the before time.when (those of us who have a PS2) were playinng are 32bit consoles,quietly button bashing away at tekken. the games that we played when the playstation was still a new born baby console like tekken, tomb raider, crash bandicoot and cool borders.the games looked and played perfecticaly compared to games that the playstation gave us years later.now look at the PS2 which is still a newbie, the graphics its producing are breath taking, gt3, metal gear solid 2 etc etc etc.now lets look to the future, in say 4 years time, just imagen the quality of games.plus with all what sony has in store for us, the hard drive, internet etc, who knows what it will produce.sony could have some really amazing add ons that their not telling us about yet,i wonder what their next step forward in technology will be, maybe a device that turns DVD's into fuly interactive, playable games.or a PS2 monkey controler, not a controler shaped like a monkey,but a monkey that works the control for you,when you tell it what to push. or maybe even a cash machine that you slot into the back of the PS2,type in your card number and get the money,without leaving the home.
people keep going on about playstation 3 is gona do this, that ansd you can use this with it, but i dont really care,i dont want to know about a playstation 3. wake me up in about 5 years,then ill be happy to discuss it,but not now,the ps2 is only just getting settled.some people have got the impresion that a ps3 is coming either next year or the next,and so are putting off a ps2 and waiting for that.
dont get me wrong, a ps3 would be great but just not yet,give the ps2 time to run its course until it becomes too old and dated for new and improved games and accesories.

You cant pick up an issue of a magazine without reading about new, exciting improvements in technolgy.it boggels the mind to think about whats going to me attached or built into your PS2 in the next few years.
could it be:
The PS2 in game teleporter - a device that teleports you from your seat into the action of the game.you could drive an F1 car, beat up stone cold steve austin or even play rough with lara croft.
the foot controller - a controller that you strap around your feet and bush the buttons with your toes.
Guns - a whole new range of playstation llightguns, snipe out your enemy with the sony sniper or just blow their head off with the PS2 rocket launcher or maybe you like things fried to finger licking perfection with the Flame thrower.
PS2 easy bake oven - stick it in the back of your playstation, put in some food,set the timmer,wait, DING, take out your hot food and eat.
The game memory card - a memory card that doesnt save progress, but instead saves games, you will never need to buy a game again, just borrow or rent one and save it to your card.
The PS2 robot kit - a pack of parts and accesories to attach that you attach to your PS2 to turn it into your very own robot. will it be a deadly kill-bot or a helpful house assitent,its up to you.and you program it on your PS2 using a cd that comes with the set.
Homework helper - stuck on your homework, dont worry just type in what needs to be done,then the PS2 will do it for you and print it out using the PS2 printer (sold seperatly)
PS2 printer - attach it to your PS2 and print away
PS2 extra plug sockets - as some of these things will need their own plug sockets,you may need to by extra sockets.
Well maybe we wont see them things, but hey,who knows.i never thaught i would be going on the internet with a PS2.

Or maybe they'll attach little electrons to your head that let you control the game without pressing a button. Then maybe you will be fully imersed into 3D, then... then...
Its good to think of what they'll come up with next...
