Why is the PS2 known as the Third place?
is it because lots of games are i the 3rd version:

Tony hawk 3
Smackdown 3
Gran turismo 3
Grand theft auto 3

and theres probably more i missed out.


is it because ps2 is actualy the 3rd playstation.theres playstation, PSone and PS2.

I think CDouch may think you've kind of missed the point.

For an example just look at the sponsors on the Champions league on ITV1 next Wednesday around 8:00pm. The advert is wierd with the blue footy pitch and sand mountains etc.

I think it is;

1. The Work-place.
2. The home-place.
3. The 3rd place (PS2)

i was thinking about the gaems that end in threes as well but i think PEs one is better

I thought it was, Work, your free time and the third place being something in the middle....
