"I found out my cable modem is USB. So I've got the connection going into the Ethernet slot. I've taken the USB cable out and the PC is off. So in effect, the PS2 is connected to the cable modem which is connected to the wall. Next up, I've went through the whole detection process and it's auto detected the modem and it's also did the wee network detection and it all seems to be working fine til I get to the Central Station bit. When I get there it keeps coming up with Couldn't Connect To Central Station, check your settings or something."
And 70 quid for a router just to avoid a bit of cable swapping is ridiculous.
