I first of all apologise because I am rushing this topic because I have to go to lunch soon.
A few years ago a friend told me that after a bad biology class after scholl he would play streetfighter 2 and beat up the one of the characters that reminded him of the biology teacher, I would like to think that it was just a stress release thing and not some slightly unhinged practice. But rather than write about how gaming can change your mood (i.e getting stuck on a certain part of a game and getting frustrated as you have to repeatedly try that part over and over) I am writing about game selection for the mood your in.
angry: usually play something with some violent content perfect dark, goldeneye.... but I never visuallise real people in the game I always know that it is just a game.
happy: probably a game that I am stuck on and feel confident of getting past or an older fun game like mario kart

Ok so I only listed 2 basic examples but I know that you people can come up with some better examples and probably some more bizarre ones than my friend/teacher/streetfighter example

(I shortened the title of this topic because it was origionally going to be :
"it all depends on the mood I'm in, mood mood I'm in....."
as a reference to the song from the old cartoon jem)
