I bought my copy a month ago at first i thought it was too complicated and normal was too hard but a month later i'm enjoying it even more, there's so much to open, the tracks are cool, the commentry is not reptitive at all, the controls are responsive and solid and the overall fun factor is superb. With 4 people i'm yet to see how good this can be though im slam dunking and doing all sorts of cool tricks easily.
I do have skies but this game deserves some recognition from people!

Try the Xbox controller... or not!

One of the turbos is the L3 button and you have to puch it in. Thankfully I have become fully customed with the controls and I don't really find it that difficult to chain some move together. Superb fun though and finally a decent basketball game since NBA Jam on the Mega Drive :)

Nothing to do with analogue/digital controller.

Just the location of the rest of the buttons makes it near on impossible to do all the combo moves. The 4 PS2 shoulder buttons are perfect for the combo moves. I played the orginal NBA street on the PS2 for countless hours and NBA street 2 on the GC jsut seemed totally unplayable becasue of the controller.

It does take time but once you know your way around the controls it gets so much better except in 'Be a Legend mode' which is quite bloody hard in normal mode you'll need to know the tricks of the trade :P

Hmm, how is that though?
Because you need to use the anologue stick and the digital pad is better? Or is it something else, if so, I'll stick with the GC version as I use the anolgue stick on the PS2 anyway.

If you have the option, try ang get it for the PS2. The GC controller takes a lot of getting used to for this game.
