Here's the top ten reasons why football is better on your console.
10: There's a pause button, if something catches your attention you can pause the game. Not so in real life, the ball keeps coming when you look the other way, and it WILL hit you in the back of the head.
9: It may be raining, snowing or blowing a gale in the game, you can still play without having to brave the elements.
8: In the game you can win major competitions, in real life you'd be lucky to beat a bunch of 5 year olds.
7: People cheer in the football game, if you try to play in the park, the kids just ask for their ball back.
6: In real football you could break your leg if you're unlucky, if you play a game too long, the worst you'll get is piles, and any decent cushion will stop that.
5:Being good at console football won't lead to you being followed by the media
4: Football games only require your hands to be co-ordinated, real football requires much more functionality.
3: A real football match lasts 90 minutes, you can play a whole tournement in that time on a game.
2: You can still play console football when you're 90.
1: In a game when you cross the ball, there's a talented player waiting to knock it into the net, when playing with your mates if you cross the ball there might be someone waiting for it, but they're more likely to fall over than make contact with the ball.
Theres no need to argue over who goes in goal first
You want need to ask around for jumpers to make the goal posts
You automatically have a team to play against (knockout is boring after a while)
