because the greatest movie ever made is coming to BBC Choice on Wednesday.
At 10:00pm I advise you turn over to BBC Choice and enjoy some great acting, some great action, some great music and a very disappointing ending. :-)
Don't let that put you off however, as at least the final shot half makes up for the bad ending. The music playing over the top, the far out shot - Perfect!
There is also a fantastically good shoot-out about half way through. A bank robbery goes horribly wrong and spills out onto the streets where civilians are being mowed down left, right and center.
It is a long film clocking in at just under 2 hours 45 minutes but miraculously, you won't be bored for one second of it. It's just too engrossing and both Pacino and De Niro give outstanding performances.
There are countless sub-plots aside from the main story which itself revolves around two characters. Robert De Niro and Al Pacino. One is a thief, the other an obsessed cop. One of the most memorable scenes I have ever seen sees these two characters meet up and have a chat over a cup of 'cawfee'.
Please do NOT miss this film. It is too good an oppertunity to just ignore, and one that doesn't come around very often. Watch it and then remember that SR sell it for only 16 quid (You hear that SR, just remember that when you're handing out the FADs). :-)
> You also failed to mention what the film is even remotley about.
This all adds to the build-up. If I don't tell you what it's about then you might watch it out of curiosity.
I did not however, intentionally miss out the name.
