Just surfing the net and a came across the GameSpyDailey site. After glancing over a few pages i found out that it had a PS section so i thought i would have a look to see if it had any interesting news. One of the Titles that caught my attention was about Final Fantasy X. I read though the topic which generally explained the history about the Final Fantasy games and what the plot and gameplay involved. But i wasn't this that surprised me. It was the fact that the game has already been released in Japan and it will be coming out in the US about January. There was no mention of a UK release but the Japan/US release dates are 6 months apart.
I think that it is highly unfair about the gaps between release dates of games in different countries. Don't the game companies realise that by doing this that increase the chance of people making pirate copies of the game and therefore losing profit.
Square aren't the only company who do this, every other company does this as well. Whatever country the company is based in gets that game released in that country first and the rest of the gaming community around the world have no other option but to sit back and wait or get a copy of it making the company lose money and also making them charge more money for games.
I know bits of this post have been bought up before but is anybody else really annoyed about the release dates of games in different countries?

the gap between american and english release dates shouldn't be that much as it is just NTSC to PAL and not a whole language change.
