It should be possible with PPP protocol but I don't know much about this.
I get an ominous message about 'Checking my system' then garbage and it hangs up.
Has anyone managed to do this?

I'm using Suse with KDE graphical desktop environment. It has a PPP set up thing called KPPP but I don't know how to fill this in correctly.
Simply dialing up with direct commands to the modem gets back the garbage message.
Any help would be much appreciated.
