Ok.... so i owned a ps1 and flogged it to get a Dreamcast..... ok so take the michael out of me........ i should have known better, Right I want to get a ps2, I have a pc with a CDRW, how are ps2's chipped is it the usual risky solder job of an external usb!!, please give some assistance.

BUT if you've mislead me and are thinking about backing up your OWN copies then their are sites which offer chips.
Playstationmods.com offer chips for imports and backups but remember alot of PS2 games are on DVD.
