"Just bought a GBA...."

Thinking about investing into a couple of games and wondered if anyone could throw a few ideas my way?

Ive not owned a nintendo based 'console' since the Snes so im a bit rusty :)

Currently thinking along the lines of SMB, Zelda, Advance Wars but not sure what they are like? (other than Zelda)

Also interested in any decent Sport Games i.e. Football, Tennis

Any help would be great.

I asked at a couple of local games shops but they don't install afterburner's, anyone know any online companies that install them for you?

I spent about 500 hours on Pokémon red.

Did 4 different files, all at about 120 hours each.

I loved that game.

Indeed.

I couldnt get into it, so therefore couldnt put the time in enjoying it.

So naturally, i'll think its crap.

I can see why, it's not one for pick up and play... but then again, CM4 isn't either, and that's an addictive game.

I got sick of AW after about 10 minutes.

100 hours on Pokemon Blue..? Geez, you'll spend a century on AW if that's the case. Although it all really depends, because there's no collecting in Advance Wars, just a infinite number of war style scenarios... I got sick of the first Pokemon after 50 hours, and Silver didn't even reach the 30 hour mark.

I spent over 100 hours on Pokemon blue when it first came out. Is it more additive than that you think?

Trust me, no-one will ever see you again with those two.

Although summer is the best tme to play it, and you really have to at least for a couple of... hundred hours.

hmmmm, sounds as though I can do without this game.

Championship manager eats up too many of my hours as it is :S
